A new record !
Unemployment in Euro zone has reached a new record of 12.1 % (last year 11.0%). Inside EU the figure is 10.9 (10.3%). That's 26.5 million people !
But it's Mayday eve and we should not share more unpleasant news.
Instead, enjoy your Mayday and extra day off at work ! Time to celebrate. (The celebrations started already last Wednesday evening here in Pori..)

Day -33
I haven't had much time to concentrate the job market lately as the spring has been so exciting and my mind have been somewhere else.
So it's time to wake up again and see where we are:
Am I close to have job? No.
Is the house sold? No.
Have we found a new place to live yet? No.
Am I expecting to solve above points before summer? No.
Right, that does not sound too good. And the latest news does not help the situation either. The global -and domestic- economy is not expected to rise nor stay still, but rather go down until the end of 2013. The domestic shops have announced that people are buying less and less, which means there's no trust for the current economy among people. And the unemployment figures has and are rising. House market is slow also, people are not taking new mortgages, which stops any positive movements in the market.
Not a very optimistic view I would say.
Can't loose my hope thou, I'll keep looking and applying. At the same time I don't expect to have a new job after 33 days, and I have no real deadline anymore. Let's continue counting anyway, just tofollow the defined "plan B". Meanwhile "plan C" is under construction :).
I wonder how many plans I might end up :)

write the day down. We wrote one piece of history last night, and yes, we are the champions!
The atmosphere were amazing and I'm sure everybody who watched the game enjoyed, apart half of Tampere.
It has been incredible 4 weeks.
I'm still too tired to attach any pictures, but might follow later.

Day -39
I got a shocking surprise today. Dear taxman sent a letter with a note for 3900€ reassessment. Nice.
To be honest, I was expecting something like this to happen, I was warned, and I should NOT pay such a amount to tax authorities until I meet the tax advisor, which I'll meet ASAP for sure.
Not sure if I can reduce it close to zero, but that's the aim.
...and now towards Tampere again.. this is like it used to be when I worked over there: travelling almost everyday to Tampere. Although the time of the day is a bit weird compared to old times.
